On Brighton's derelict West Pier, a woman witnesses a man dumping a body into the ocean and then is murdered herself. When her husband is accused of the crime, the couple's son (Ben Chaplin, The Nevers) hunts for the real killer within the coastal resort's dangerous underworld.
